We depart for Key West on Monday. It's a couples trip, and being the "maker" I am, I had to make some survival packs for us.

The best part... ID badges for the almost guarantee part of one of us walking off in a drunken, happy state.

July 4th wreath.

This wreath by far was the easiest one yet. I took some thin wire, wrapped it around as many times as I liked, & formed it into a circle.

My plan was to go through my paper stash and cut stars but I found these felt stars in the $1 section at Joann's. I bought 2 packs, whipped out my hot glue gun and slapped that wreath on the door. 

Writing this post took longer than the creation of the wreath.

Deck done. Finally!

We've lived in our house for about 5 years, and out of those 5 years our deck was considered unsafe for 4 of those years. Short explanation- the deck was built too wide and long without enough support beams. So after many trips to Home Depot, we finally have a space we LOVE! Best part? Mr.L loves grilling so much I haven't had to think about or cook dinner in about a week.

Love is understatement! Mr.L (and his dad) worked very hard to make this a stable, safe place, and worked some more on making it beautiful to boot!
