I found this fabric on clearance at Joann's and had visions of it being a great skirt! Only problem? I've never made anything in my life before! The fabric was sheer, so on top of making a skirt, I had to figure out to sew in a lining too.
With the help of...Freshly Picked I was able to figure it out.
Now for the finished product's debut...
{sorry for no head...no one would want to see what's going on with my face and hair!}
What do you think?
Wow...great first go! This looks professional!
ReplyDeleteYou made it? Wow. The fabric does look great. Now, I really, really wish I could sew. I think I remember how to... Hmmm. This is so cute!
ReplyDeleteaww thanks ladies! i'm very shocked it turned out to actually look like a skirt!
ReplyDeleteprofessional? not that good i dont think! but i cant wait to wear it after my 30 for 30!
Wow that looks so great! I have so much fabric laying around that I bought on a whim, and I've been itching to make them into skirts and was too scared, but you've inspired me to give it a try!
ReplyDeleteThat looks great!!! Very nice job - I love the fabric choice!
ReplyDeleteI was thinking since there is no clothing shopping during the 30 for 30 I should do some fabric shopping and clothing making!
